Curious About Outdoor Life? Welcome to Summer in Storlien!
Here, we’ve pressed pause on the adrenaline and embraced the calm, wide-open adventures instead.
You don’t need to know how to build a fire, use a camping stove, or cook over open flames — we’ll teach you!
Rent a canoe and paddle across clear mountain lakes, learn to fish with a guide, or rent a mountain adventure kit and head out on a tenting trip with everything you need.
Here in Storlien, the mountains are still wild — and the adventure begins right outside your door.
Fish as much as you like and have time for—our guide is available to provide tips and assistance if desired. Weather permitting, the guide will light a fire for a cozy break. You can take a rest whenever you want, and we'll bring simple refreshments for everyone.
Our guide will teach you how to use a camping stove, pitch a tent, and build a fire. You'll also gain a better understanding of the Swedish Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten).
...where you'll enjoy stunning mountain views and hear the story of Dr. Westerlund and the first “air guests.” Discover why the benches are placed where they are and who the people behind them were.
TIP! End your hike with our fire cooking workshop including lunch - booked separately!
