Storlien Högfjällshotell has established an InfoPoint in the hotel lobby following authorization from Åre Municipality's Tourist Information.
With this initiative, we aim to become a natural destination for the hundreds of thousands of travelers who annually cross the border between Sweden and Norway at Storlien. Here, you will find current information from both Jämtland – Härjedalen and Trøndelag – Trondheim.
The hotel's InfoPoint is located adjacent to the lobby café and offers free WiFi and parking. As more and more material is only available digitally, we want to go against the tide by providing physical maps and brochures from both sides of the border.
Travelers along the E14 can now easily make a detour up to the hotel to calmly plan their onward route and take the opportunity to rest and enjoy a coffee or a meal. We will continuously receive new materials from our partners Åre Municipality, Jämtland-Härjedalen Tourism, Destination Östersund, and Visit Trondheim.
